* 교과목 카운슬링 및 플래너 서비스 (필요성 그리고 장점)

학생의 현재 학습수준에 맞춰 최적의 교과과목 선정과 원하는 전공과 원하는 대학을 기준으로 전체적인 학습 로드맵을 만들어줍니다.

현 문제점 및 목적 - 좋은 유학원은 언제나 존재합니다. 하지만 일부 유학원 서비스를 제공받는 재원생중 학생의 능력을 고려하지 않고 과목을 선정해주거나 대학 진학률과 관련 없는 인턴쉽 그리고 캠프 활동의 참가를 요구하는 경우가 많습니다. 사실 아이 SAT점수가 1300점대 혹은 1400점대에서 어떠한 활동을 해도 TOP10 스쿨 진학은 어렵습니다 (우리 학생중 세계4대 올림피아드대회 IBO/IMO/IPhO/IChO Gold Medalist 개인부분 1위 학생도 MIT 합격하기전 우리학원에서 SAT 학습후 SAT에서 최상위 점수를 제출하였습니다.) 어떤 유학원에서는 SAT 1500점 이하인데 "수준급" 리서치 활동을 보장하는 프로그램의 가입도 요구하기도 합니다. (사실 수준급 리서치는 SCI-indexed Journal에 출판될 정도인데 박사과정학생은 물론이고 현직 교수한테도 어려운 과제입니다. 대학 입학처에서 1500점 이하 수준의 고등학생(학생 연구활동을 국가차원에서 전폭 지원하는 서울 과학고 혹은 부산영재고에서도 재학중 SCI논문 출판은 어렵습니다.)이 수준높은 리서치 결과를 도출했다는 것 자체가 이해하기 어려울 겁니다.) 따라서 스타프랩 우리 재원생만이라도 대학 진학과정에 피해를 최소화하기위해 본 프로그램을 구성하였습니다 -

학생 등록 조건 Eligibility

1. 학생은 스타프랩어학원에 재학중이어야 합니다.  

The service is exclusively available to students currently studying at Starprep.

2. 본 프로그램 신청 시 재학중에 원장선생님으로부터 허락을 받아내야 합니다.

Permission must be granted by the Principal before enrolling in this program.

3. SAT 모의고사 점수를 제출해야 합니다. 

Students must submit their SAT mock test scores. 

[본 점수를 기반으로 학생의 학습 능력을 판단합니다; 정확한 판단을 위해 모의고사 4회 이상의 점수 결과를 제출해야 합니다; 제출된 점수는 Smooth해야 합니다. 즉 노이즈 혹은 스파이크 데이타는 제외합니다]

4. 학부모님과 학생은 솔직한 학습정보를 제공해야 합니다.

Both parents and students must provide candid and accurate academic information.

내용 Program Outline

0. 원하는 전공 그리고 원하는 대학과 현재 학생의 학습상황을 정확히 분석하여 현재 갈 수 있는 대학 리스트를 제공하며 보완할 사항들을 체크합니다.   

We perform a detailed analysis of the student's desired major, target universities, and current academic standing to provide a comprehensive list of attainable universities. Furthermore, we identify and highlight areas that need to be enhanced for achieving academic success. 

1. 학생의 학습능력에 따라 학년별 수강과목 추천과 학습지도 서비스를 제공합니다.

We provide personalized course recommendations and academic guidance based on the student's academic ability and year of study.

[학생의 수학 Math, Science, History, Social Studies, English 능력에 따라 기본적인 부족한 부분들을 찾아내어 최적의 학습 프로그램을 제공합니다.]

2. 각 연도별 그리고 각 시기별 시험정보와 시험대비 수업을 제공합니다.

We ensure the student is thoroughly prepared for the academic year ahead by providing up-to-date exam information and conducting exam-specific preparation classes.

3. 학습 능력에 따라 그리고 SAT/AP/GPA 점수에 따라 강력한 Spike/Hook 프로그램(SAT 최소 1570+점)을 추천합니다. 

Based on the student's academic capabilities and SAT/AP/GPA scores, we recommend robust Spike/Hook programs (with a minimum SAT score requirement of 1570+). 

4. 추천 대학 리스트 그리고 전공을 선정합니다. 

We assist in curating a list of recommended universities and help in selecting the right major for the student. 

5. 대학 원서작성 및 대학 지원서비스 제공합니다. (1-4번 과정을 이수한 학생에게 적용됩니다.)

We provide comprehensive support for college applications, including drafting and submitting applications. (This applies to students who have completed steps 1-4 of the process.)
